Bermuda on the Rocks is a contemporary home with three bedrooms and as the name suggests the house sits on the rocks on the Juan de Fuca Strait. The only distractions at this house are a wonderful view of the water, Olympic Mountains, Cruise ships, Small craft, daily ferries and lots of wildlife. This house is a gem which has a lot to offer. The view is ever changing from the living room windows where you can enjoy something to eat & drink whilst looking at the scenery. The wildlife that can be seen at these windows is otters, minks, seals, eagles, seagulls, geese, and orca whales!

As you walk in the front door you will be captivated by the scenic view from the large windows in the living room. You will feel at home and welcomed by the warmth this house has to offer. Living in this home is like being on a cruise that just never ends!

The house is about 5,000 square ft with open plan upstairs. The entrance way has a huge closet which houses coats and shoes. As you enter the home you will face the large open plan living room, kitchen to the right and also the dining room with 14ft ceilings! Off the entrance way is the door to the garage which can house up to four cars on a hydraulic lift, and also a powder room for visitors just before you reach the living room. Off the living room is the Zen feel master bedroom with large ensuite bathroom, and a dual gas fireplace for both the bedroom and bathroom. The master bedroom has a double French door which leads to a small terrace where you can sit all year round and enjoy cocktails, meals or afternoon tea as there is a gas heater on this terrace. This terrace can also be accessed from the living room. The large ensuite bathroom has a Jacuzzi and also a shower, with a double sink. The washer and dryer are also located in this bathroom along with a small TV. Upstairs boasts numerous skylights which is an added feature with one in the kitchen, one in the entrance hall and another skylight in the master bathroom and walk in closet area, never a shortage of natural light in this house. Facing the living room is the kitchen which is a gourmet chef’s dream fully equipped with high end appliances – Thermador Professional gas stove with four burners, barbecue grill, griddle top plus two ovens. There is also a large Subzero fridge/freezer. You can cook and also enjoy your guests in the living room at the same time. The dining room is right next to the kitchen area, with a view of the Juan de Fuca Strait. There is piped in music in the master bedroom, powder room, dining room, living room, and study/reading room off the family room.

Downstairs is the family room with small bar, bar fridge, plasma TV and another gas fireplace plus water views. The hot tub is a step outside from the family room. You can enjoy a party downstairs, watch TV which is Cable and enjoy the hot tub as well. There is also floor heating downstairs except in the bedroom with the king size bed which has electric heating. Off the family room is a private, small intimate study/reading room which is quiet and secluded and enjoys another view of the Juan de Fuca Strait. There is a telephone and fax machine in this room as well. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one bedroom has a king size bed, along with a sitting area which includes a sofa bed. There is a desk unit which houses a TV and play station. The ensuite has a very large shower large enough for two people, a tub and one sink. The third bedroom has a Caribbean flair with twin beds for two singles that can be pushed together to make a king bed for a couple, and another gorgeous view of the Juan de Fuca Strait. The ensuite has two sinks and a shower only which also can be used as a steam shower.

The home is protected with Price’s Alarm system. There is a door phone which is used when guests arrive to visit. The bell is pushed and the phone inside rings with a special ring to tell you that you have a visitor at your front door.

This home is nestled between Saxe Point Park and Macaulay Point, two very beautiful parks right on the water within short walking distance. There are bus stops as you come out of Plaskett Place which will take you to downtown Victoria. There is the Esquimalt Recreation Center about 10 minutes walk from the home where you can swim in the indoor pool or work out on the gym equipment. There is also the Esquimalt Shopping Plaza which is about a twenty minute walk from the house. This shopping plaza has the Country Grocer which also houses the post office; there is a liquor store, dry cleaners, seamstress, pharmacy, optical company, little bakery shop, a small hair salon and Serious Coffee. We are approximately 10 minutes from downtown Victoria by car. We are also located near the Spinnakers Pub, Delta Ocean Point Hotel, Old World Café, Shoppers Drug Mart, A&W, Tim Horton's, Domino's pizza, and a walk in health clinic.

This home has a Hollywood feel and a treasure that is a must see, & a must vacation in home.

    Spectacular View!
    This was an incredible place to stay. It was very comfortable and was situated close to downtown Victoria, yet the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It had a spectacular view and beautifully decorated. The sea life entertained us daily. Highly recommend it!
