With endless trails meandering through Coles Bay Park and The Glen Meadows Golf and Country Club a few minutes away, there is an outdoor adventure for everyone.     Exquisite
    The ocean view from this property is exquisite! We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it highly to other travelers. Our family of 7 (5 adults and 2 children) stayed for 6 days and the home easily handled the 7 people for sleeping, dining, laundry, and bathrooms. There are 2 bathrooms – one with a bathtub and a separate shower and the other bathroom with a shower and full laundry facilities. The weather throughout the week was great but the afternoons got quite warm – the air-conditioned house was very much appreciated, especially at night for sleeping. The ocean view is a vista that looks out on Saanich Inlet. You can relax on the patio and watch the ocean or sit in the living area and view the same vista. There are many destinations that are easily reached from this home – whether it be in Victoria, Sidney or the nearby Butchart Gardens or the Butterfly Garden. However, if you chose to stay at this home for your full stay and go nowhere else it would be most enjoyable because of its view and the home is well laid out for relaxing in. The International Airport is less than 10 minutes from the house and a few more minutes for a drive into Sidney for shopping, dining or a walk on Sidney’s shore. The home is well decorated and equipped for travelers and we appreciated that because we flew onto Vancouver Island. The wildlife – seals, otters and birds – are all around you. Because this is an ocean side property, you can easily walk down to the beach and out on a pier the extends in to the ocean. On our trip, our 2 grandchildren found a baby seal on the shore under the dock one morning. They were excited but left the seal alone watching it swim out and come back to shore. The baby seal stayed 24 hours and appeared not to have been visited by its mother during that time. We called the Animal Rescue and they sent a person out to rescue the seal and take it to Vancouver to be looked after.

    Spectacular
    it I ever return to north saanich I will wait until this space is available. Could not believe how beautiful the view was. and it was much more spacious than I thought it would be. The view was west facing so the sunsets over the water were spectacular. rented kayaks that we played with off the dock, got fishing licenses for a few days and went crabbing off the dock, and (this may not be a common occurrence) the beach in the back was bio luminescent so we had the best time watching all of the little fish, dog sharks, seals and otters glow and play.

    Great getaway with incredible view
    We enjoyed our stay very much, enjoyed the spectacular and poetic view. The house is luminous, very clean, well equipped with comfortable beds. The large patio is wonderful to have meals outside and watch the seals and the birds. It is an ideal location to visit Victoria, the Butchart Gardens, the Butterflies Garden, Sidney and its ferry to Salt Spring Island and the fun Saturday Market. We hope to come back.

    Amazing!
    We had an amazing time here. The location of the house to the airport, the town of Sidney, ferries, Victoria, etc was fantastic. North Saanich is a beautiful part of the island. Great dock on site, the beach front is enjoyable and playable for the kids when the tide is out a bit. I have very few negative comments...only that you could tell this may be a newer rental, while the house was redone nicely it was not stocked as well as some other homes we have rented and the furniture left a little comfort to be desired. That being said, the home was outfitted with all you really need to enjoy your stay. The view is amazing. Great walking in the neighborhood. Farms with fresh food everywhere. Great for kids, family as well.
