A True Masterpiece

This place is a masterpiece! Part industrial, part modern, and completely fabulous. We felt like celebrities. The kitchen island became the focal point for our evenings of wine and conversation. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious. The small details (dragon door knocker and toilet roll holder, anyone?) make this place even more outrageously fun. The hot tub overlooking Victoria and the twinkling parliament buildings really topped off a wonderful time away with friends. We would love to use this home as a base again when we're next in the city. Highly recommended.

A True Masterpiece

We found an oasis in downtown Victoria beyond our hopes. We’ve been travelling with my husband’s handicapped brother and family, and couldn’t believe our luck to find a central location that is as spacious and well appointed as it is accommodating. I loved the decorative touches. The elevator meant my brother-in-law could navigate his way easily amongst the four levels if you include the rooftop with the hot tub and the expansive views. He was thrilled, and we were too. It’s a part of the city that is new to us, and the best beer and ice cream in the city is just down Bridge Street. First class.

DESCRIPTION

This professionally converted industrial space near the edge of the Selkirk Waterway is one of the city's most iconic inner sanctums. A true urban oasis where contemporary living space melds with classic design in this solid, four level plus rooftop, masterpiece. The main portion of this three bedroom home overlooks downtown Victoria with panoramic views that highlight the Olympic Mountains, Parliament Buildings and the Malahat. Exclusive elements of design include the unique two-way circular infinity fireplace which separates the colourful living room from the open-concept gourmet kitchen

 with its high-end commercial appliances. The glass-doored elevator rises to the private home theatre or up to the roof-top deck with its large hot tub and jaw-dropping views. 

*Three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, two gas fireplaces, theatre room, bbq balcony, rooftop sitting area, five person hot tub, securely gated and monitored, courtyard parking for five, gourmet kitchen, office room, elevator to all four floors, wheelchair accessible, walking distance to town along the Galloping Goose trail, five minute drive to downtown.

The home is private, however has a bachelor suite that is tenanted + a studio event space with loft bedroom available for additional rental (Tables, chairs, etc. not provided. Can be rented separately by private company).

 

PLEASE NOTE: The main home cannot be used for events. The studio space can only be rented in addition to the home, NOT separately.  (Please inquire if interested).
