DESCRIPTION
Old-world charm blends with modern amenities in this lovely 19th century Victorian home.
Situated on a quiet residential street in the heart of old Victoria, it is nestled among numerous attractions. The shores of the Salish Sea are a few minutes stroll to Ross Bay and Clover Point.
Explore the shops and restaurants in Cook Street Village. Walk or cycle to Beacon Hill Park and beyond to Downtown and the Inner Harbour. Climb Moss Rocks for a spectacular view of the
snowcapped mountains on the Olympic Peninsula.
Visit the famous Moss Street Market on Saturdays for local produce and crafts. Wander through the beautiful gardens of Government House and visit the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. Go birding in the Ross Bay cemetery and look for Emily Carr’s and Billy Barker’s resting places. Walk to the Fairfield Plaza for groceries, pharmacy, liquor store, hardware store, Ross Bay pub and sushi.
At home, the deck in the morning with a coffee is a delightful place to watch the sunrise, listen to the creek burbling and to the morning chorus of the birds. The kitchen is a chef’s dream. It is well stocked with cookware and has a large granite island with a gas range. Or, one could step outside and have a barbecue on the Traeger grill. The bedrooms are spacious and bright with ample closet space. The work of a dozen local artists decorate the walls throughout. The living
room is a cozy spot to curl up in front of the gas fireplace, read a book or watch TV. There is space for bicycle storage under the deck.
