“We stayed for 5 nights 6 days. The location was wonderful and the apartment well appointed. The only real negative would be the pull out sofa (not great !, would be fine for a shorter stay I’m sure). We did contact the host about some missing bedding, iron and board and they were very quick to respond with brand new replacements, Ty. The house is divided into 3 units, we stayed on the port side unit, with locked doors dividing us from the other guests. The door opposite the bedroom I think must have lead to the other units bathroom as you could hear full conversations and their movements in the morning and evening . In all a great location, clean and well supported by the Elite team.”

We really enjoyed our stay at Barry and Patti's. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had what we needed to prepare our meals, and it was a cozy haven to return to after a day in Victoria. The construction on the house next door didn't happen on the weekend, so we weren't disturbed by noise, and the ocean view was still spectacular.

Had a fantastic stay at Barry and Patti’s beautiful oceanside home! They are very friendly and accommodating hosts, and the space was really nice, clean and comfortable. It’s just a short drive from the city center and the views are amazing!

The kitchen with an ocean view was a treat to prepare food in. There’s a grocery store en route and for us, that meant staying in for meals to enjoy the great location and sounds of the water.

DESCRIPTION
Two-bedroom 'modern beach cottage style' suite in newer built home. 1 queen bed and 1 pull-out sofa. Kitchen, fridge, stove, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. Access to laundry.
The suite has 180 degrees of Ocean frontage on tranquil 10 mile point. Considered by many to be the best water view property in Victoria with Salmon and cod fishing, scuba diving, paddle boarding and kayaking right out the front door. Sea lions, Killer Whales, marine birds of all kinds abound.
You can see boats of all types travel between the Gulf Islands and the San Juan Islands and Victoria's Inner Harbor all day long. Quiet and secluded yet close to amenities. 6-minute drive to the University of Victoria, Uplands Golf course, and 20 minutes to downtown Victoria.
Local restaurants include Lemongrass Thai, Matsuki An Sushi, Smugglers Pub. Also Peppers grocery, Caddy Bay liquor store and Bliss Spa. Gyro Park Beach is a great local walking beach.
