We had a wonderful stay and the host was very kind and helpful and gave us lots of great tips.

Had a wonderful few days at this home. Truly a comfortable, quiet and peaceful home and location. The home feels like it is way out in the country, not right on the edge of town. Host is very friendly and interesting, and runs a yoga studio and sound bath experience if that interests you. Only thing to be aware of is the access is a long set of uneven stairs around the outside of the house that might be difficult if you are disabled or have difficulty getting around.

Amazing stay! Our host Janis was spectacular and the property was fantastic.  We felt we had privacy and enjoyed our time on the lake.

The Willow Suite was exceptionally presented and had everything we needed. Very relaxing  and tranquil. Lots of shops within easy drives. Handy to Victoria.

Willow Suite is located in a pristine lakefront location within a more urban area.  The unit was very clean and modern and included a king size bed and surprisingly large bathroom with large shower.  Janis, the owner and manager, was very responsive to our needs.  The deck provides a great view as does the dock on the lake. There were lots of "toys" available, including a hot tub, kayak, flotation devices, etc. The small kitchenette was perfectly adequate (a kettle for boiling water would be a nice addition). We highly recommend this lodging, especially to couples on a getaway vacation.

The property was a very relaxing setting and the host was very accommodating.  The private hot tub was amazing.

Beautiful lake view! Outside the inflatable hot tub and propane fire on the private deck were terrific in the chilly weather and covered enough to keep off the rain. Magical fairy lights in the trees at night while enjoying the steaming soak. Inside very comfortable bed and nicely decorated suite with large walk-in shower. Host Janis was extremely helpful including giving me a propane fire tutorial:) Hope to come back in warmer months to utilize the dock and water activities provided; they look like a lot of fun but I recommend for all seasons!

The location was great...place was very cozy and really clean. Great extras like hot tub and fire pit. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing location.. serene setting in nature ;yet walking distance to all your amenities! The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We hope to be back when we have a bike rack for our e bikes.

This suite is absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway. Located right on the lake, it has a stunning view, but it's also so easy to get to and close to any amenities you might need. Beautiful and clean and everything we wanted! Janis was a wonderful host, and our pup, Zoey, loved playing with Lex in the lake.

It's a beautiful place not too far away from Victoria downtown. We had a great quiet time staying there. Watching the beautiful lake view from the hot tub is my favorite part. We would love to stay there again.

Love the willow suite. Janis was awesome! Weather didn't cooperate but everything was perfect.

Willow Retreat is the BEST Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at in Victoria! We have been coming to the island for 8+ years and it a definite favorite from here on in! Peaceful, quiet & private with all of the amenities you need to never have to leave. The host (Janis) is kind, considerate and has thought of everything for her guests. Typically, it takes a couple days to unwind but stepping into Willow Retreat we immediately relaxed. Perfect for someone staying alone who needs to unwind and romantic for couples who crave privacy. This is going to be the ONLY place we stay at in Victoria now. I just hope it’s available! If we could give Willow Retreat a 10 star rating for excellence we would!

Host was awesome! Bed comfy. But carpet is probably not the best for a lakeside retreat and hard to know where to put garbage/ recycling when checking out-currently a stock photo of garbage bag in emailed instructions. Overall the energy of the host and the lake can’t be beat. Thanks again!

This lakeside property is something dreams are made of! Stayed here for two nights. Had plenty of privacy with ample lake access. Great spot to paddle board or go swimming while enjoying the propane fire at the end of the night along with a nice hot tub.

It was an awesome beautiful spot with a lovely view. They had a great fenced in yard with a puppy station for business. We didn't swim but if it was a little warmer definitely would have!

This Lakeside Retreat is cozy, warm and inviting! The room is well appointed, including extremely comfortable kingsize bed - your host provides in suite BC wines for purchase - free Keurig coffee or morning Lattes delivered to your outdoor deck!  A private outdoor fire pit for the evening, and hot tub, chairs and non-motorized water craft to use wharf side, lush beach towels provided by your gracious host.   Check in & out is contactless.... great place to relax, read, enjoy the view and recharge.

Wonderful place. Hot tub was a highlight and loved the suite. Would definitely return to this beautiful serene setting on the lake. Also really loved the complimentary cappuccino delivered in the morning - very thoughtful touch.

We celebrated our first anniversary here and loved the autumn theme/decoration. The lake was pretty, the cappuccinos were tasty and Netflix was handy. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub, which was especially romantic when it was raining outside. The bed was quite comfortable and shower was excellent, with room for two.

Janis was an awesome host, the location is a heavenly delight and I honestly didn't even know beds could be that comfortable. The view, the lake, the hot tub. “We were looking for a clean, private, local getaway that felt removed from town, and we definitely found it here! The suite was very private, sparkling clean, and very well-appointed. The bed was huge and comfy, the bathroom (and walk-in rain shower) were lovely. The host included many wonderful touches, like soft fluffy towels and bathrobes, a selection of wines, cappuccinos in the morning, and lots of water toys to use. I loved the 2 different propane fireplaces on the deck, all the low lighting and candles, and the outdoor hot tub. Florence Lake is a beautiful and serene place, with clear, tepid water perfect for swimming! We had an amazing couples retreat, nice and close to home - thank you!!”

This is a wonderful space to get away from the city life even during weekdays ! Even if you are from Victoria this place -not far from town- will make you feel like you are in the country side. I enjoyed the paddle board sunset session at the Lake, while suntanning. This was followed by a nice ‘aperitive’ / happy hour in the open deck and terrace, with a magnificent view of the lake and great company. Then as the night arrived the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit was the best option to warm up while making sure the sun sets and that the predicted meteorite shower shows up. No need to say that I felt asleep immediately on one of the most comfortable king beds I have ever tried. The place was sparkling clean and had everything you may need. The stay was complemented the morning after with an amazing coffee and of course with the quiet waters from the lake inviting the new sunshine into the garden ! This is a dreamy place !

We had a wonderful time visiting this property! Our host was friendly and made sure we were comfortable before giving us our privacy, but was available via text. The suite was very comfortable with a luxurious king-sized bed and a spa-like bathroom with rain shower. The view of the lake was serene, we enjoyed the seats on the dock and ventured out on the paddle boat. The hot tub on the patio with lake views was a wonderful ending to our day! Check in and out was simple and we appreciated all the small touches our host provided. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

My girlfriend and I had an incredible time during our stay at the Willow Suite. We spent the day out in the sun enjoying the private dock and even went for a beautiful hike around the lake. We spent the night outside and had a lovely fire followed by a soak in the hot tub. The host provided an additional dinner service and complimentary breakfast which included the most delicious coffee we’ve ever had. The extra details and thought that the host put into our experience made it the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. This was a great way to spend a weekend get-away and I cant wait to come back. 5 stars!

We recently stayed for 2 nights at this wonderful lakeside suite. Just a beautiful spot..we enjoyed the room, deck and lakeside amenities which included a kayak, paddle boat, paddle boards and more! Very cozy at night with nice lighting and fires to keep warm. The owner provided some excellent cappuccinos each morning!

My husband and I recently stayed at Willow Suite for our anniversary. It is the perfect location - close enough to shopping and restaurants and yet it is on a lake so you really feel like you are away from the city. It is very quiet, clean and well equipped. Several water toys are made available to guests so you can also get outdoors and enjoy some activities on the lake. The host does a great job making you feel welcome and I would definitely recommend Willow Suite to friends and family!
